Creative Advertising:

In this module, I acquired essential knowledge about creative advertising, covering its historical context, brainstorming techniques, and fostering creative and critical thinking. Through the course, I developed strategies and skills in conceptualization and concept development crucial for various advertising endeavours. These skills include creative brainstorming, critical analysis, and the ability to translate ideas into compelling advertising campaigns.

Overall Grade: 3 (Distinction)

Content Design:

In this module, I learned to design content for both print and online platforms, focusing on clear and persuasive communication. I gained insights into industry standards and practices while exploring the history of content design in advertising, PR, and branding. Additionally, I developed skills in industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop and Canva, as well as freeware software for layout design across various mediums.

Overall Grade: 4 (Distinction)

Public Relations Practice:

Throughout the module, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of public relations. Coursework tasks involved analyzing PR campaigns and developing a media kit encompassing press releases, speeches, and more. Through this experience, I honed my analytical skills, enhanced my persuasive communication abilities, and gained practical expertise in crafting compelling PR materials.

Overall Grade: 5 (Merit)

Brands, Media and Society:

In this module, I gained foundational insights into branding's historical evolution and its complex relationship with media and society. Through immersive experiences like field visits and guest speaker sessions, I learned to analyze how brands shape and reflect culture. Moreover, I developed critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, deepening my understanding of branding's multifaceted role in modern society.
